brainwashed and scared of "loosing" their souls.....but stupid? no, i won't say that. i know some extremely smart ppl that just don't believe in evolution. and that is fine.
as long as these ppl don't ATTACK me for being Atheist i have no problems with them being Creationists..as long as our discussions are calm and non-threatening.
however...there are SOME that are down right confrontational on purpose.
and i understand WHY you posted this question..because of that last idiot...but honestly, you are lowering yourself to his level!
chill friend!

and YOU can't PROVE that God exists...so there we have it. your "evidence" is about as compelling to me as my evolutionary beliefs are to you.
so don't go around spouting off that its "true". nothing is true until it is accepted by everyone, and that has not happened, so it might be true for YOU, but it's NOT for me.
therefore..this fish...ain't bittin' today sweetie.

were you there when Darwin died??? oh what's that...NO!
so shut up. don't you know you that "believers" sell that crap as truth to support their own misguided attempts at always being correct. that is URBAN MYTH! why don't YOU crack open an accurate history book! and there are MANY atheists that met their end peacefully and WITHOUT silly religious sentimentality! grow up..and stop pretending to know everything!

Scientists didn't "invent" evolution moron..they posed the question! it is left to the individual to decide BASED ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH..and if you can't find that research...your either blind, illiterate, not looking, or plan retarded.
"the word of god" was INVENTED by man...made up, created from the mind of man, hooey, ancient gossip, fairy tales, wishful thinking.....goobley g ook !
do i know everything? certainly not...we learn new things everyday. but i SURE know BS when i read it....and that would be the "good book" !!

The movie was Mission to Mars. I liked the movie right up untill the end. I find it funny that people are willing to believe that life on earth started by aliens (i.e. Intelligent designers) but that notion that there is an all powerfull almighty God that created the world is unthinkable. But back to your point. What is brainwashing? Is being taught a false teaching to the point that you believe it to be true brainwashing? Then yes, you are brainwashed. The one behind the brainwashing is in fact Lucifer himself. I believe that the movie 'The usual suspects' put it best when talking about Kizer Sozee (pardon the spelling) " The greatest trick the devil ever pulled, was convincing the world he didn't exsist" The fact that you don't believe in either God or the Devil means that you have been brainwashed. I don't believe there is some big government conspiracy trying to push evolution to the masses, its the work of the devil to get your minds as far from possible from the fact that YOU NEED GOD!! Evolution is a great tool for that. Susystars: do you realize that what you are saying are all concepts that are in the Bible!!! Where do you think 'all things in moderation' came from? All of you people don't even realize what the Bible says, yet you come on here and rant about how Bible believers are brainwashed and stupid, you don't even know what you are arguing about. Do a little research. Evolution is absolutly talked about in church, its not acknowledged as being true, because it is not. I truely fear for all of you who will one day find out that you were wrong. but at that time it will be too late. I pray that you all find salvation one day. God still loves you no matter how much you put him down. He will always be there for you.

It's not either/or, but both/and. I believe there is been a great deception wrought upon the masses by some people in the scientific community who has an agenda, to push secularism as a worldview. There are people who have been hoodwinked through much exposure to evolutionary propaganda that keeps chanting "evolution is fact, fact, fact" and at the same time that smears and labels any criticism of evolution as anti-intellectualism or rabid fundamentalism. Often the foolishness of believing in evolution is buried under high sounding technical jargon often used by the evolutionists themselves to portray evolutionists as ultra-elite intellectuals, the very few people who knows the "truth" about origins. So most folks simply let these people do their stuff and accept their own ignorance of the weightier matters of evolutionary "science". I believe that once people really see the basis for evolution, they would wonder why they have first believed it or even championed it.

Excuse me, but what qualifies you to draw such conclusions? Who are you?

Why do you believe in evolution? What if evolution and the Creator are actually both at work here?

If you were back in the 1400's, would you be one of the "stupid" people that believed the Earth was flat? How do you think they felt about themselves when they were proven wrong?

What PROOF have you that evolution is the answer? What PROOF, I said.

Perhaps you are the one that is stupid. Did you ever consider that?

Whether you are right about evolution or not, one thing I am certain of and that is you are not qualified to diagnose those that don't believe in evolution as being stupid.

By the way, have you ever taken the time to look up "stupid" in the dictionary? I thought not.

I don't believe in evolution, per se, but that's no reason to say that people who do are brainwashed OR stupid. A lot of people believe something that isn't correct due to the fact that they have only heard one side of the story, have had facts mis-represented to them, or simply accept the data and information provided on that fact as sufficient.

I never considered myself brainwashed, though I have felt incredibly stupid on more than a few occations. That being said, lets breifly examine evolution. Evolution seems to supply more questions than answers. If every creature evolved with no creator, there are numerous problems for "scientific" evolution.
take for instance the first bird. Did the bird breath? Did it breath before it evolved lungs? How did it do this? Why did it evolve lungs if it was happy surviving without them? How did it know what needed to be evolved if it's brain hadn't yet evolved?
Did the bird have a mouth? where did the mouth send the food before a stomach evolved? How did the bird have energy if it didn't eat (because it didn't yet have a mouth)? How did the bird see what there was to eat before its eyes evolved? Evolution is intellectual suicide. It is an embarrassment. Professor Louis Bounoure, directorod research National Center of Scientific Research, so rightly stated: "Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless." Dr. T. N. Tahmisian of the Atomic Energy Commission said, "Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever."
Dr. Colin Patterson senior paeontologist at he British Museum of Natural History explained his sudden "anti-evolutionary" view:
"One morning I woke up and...it struck me that I had beeen workng on this stuff for twenty years and there was not one thing I knew about it. Thats quite a shock to learn that one can be misled for so long....I've tried putting a simple question to various people: "Can you tell me anything you know about evolution, any one thing , any one thing that is true?" I tried that question on the geology staff at the Field Museum of Natural History and th only answer I got was silence. I tried it on the Evolutionary Morphology Seminar in the University of Chicago, a very prestigious body of evolutionists, and all I got there was silence for a long time and eventually one person said, "I know one thing - it ought not be taught in high school."
If there is no real scientific evidence for evolution why is the theory promoted so vehemently? Sir Arthur Kieth, who wrote the foreward to The Origin of Species, (100th edition), admitted, "Evolution is unproved and unprovable. we believe it only because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable."
If anyone would like to read more on this subject there is an excellent book written by Lee Strobel The Case For a Creator. thank you for your time.

People who BELIEVEs in evolution are the stupid people. The scientists who invented the world "evolution" states that it is just a THEORY, no scientific proof and not based on facts..I dont know why people who assumes that they know the everything about evolution thinks that it is a FACT.

Besides, I believe that my forefathers of thousand or even millions of years ago looks like me..They might be smaller, darker, but I totally doesnt believe that they came from apes..

How about you?

Forget about religion, that can be brainwashing. But the people who believe almost every fantastic word that comes out of the all knowing scientists mouth have taken an even greater leap then then a hell bent cultist.

I don't think most of them are brainwashed or stupid (there are always exceptions though). I think it is more a matter of needing a "crutch" in life and religion is that for a lot of people. They can't believe in their religion AND evolution, so...

Actually, it takes an open mind to consider the idea that evolution may not be the answer. You obviously wouldn't qualify.
