Just screw the cable in the RF antenna input of your TV. I'm assuming you already have a cable coming into your house, either from your roof antenna or your cable company.

Every TV has a socket for cable/antenna at its back side and is called a female socket and a cable/antenna lead has a male socket, Just plug the male to female - mission complete ....... thats all...........

sounds like you are attempting to connect modern cable to old antenna input. you need an adaptor for 75 ohm coax to 300 ohm
dual wire input. get one at radio shack.

Turn off you tv you shoud see a socket behind you tv where you can plugin you cable. It is usually not colored while the rest of the plugs behind your tv are.

the aerial plug should plug straight into the aerial plug assembly on the back of the tv
