since i was little, i have always had these skin discolorations or "dis" pigmentations. it looks like someone took liquid foundation that is ten shades too light and just splattered it across my face. it only does this on my face and during the summer too. it has never really freaked me out because the doctor says it was nothing to worry about. people tell me to put sunscreen with moisturizer when going on but nothing seems to be working. if you know what this condition is or how to help/prevent it, i will be seriously thankful and HAPPY!!!(to have clear, beautiful skin .haha) :)

If you're doctor said so then I guess there is really nothing to be worried about. But if you are in doubt, then get second opinion. As you describe it..could be Vitiligo. Phototherapy will help it get the color of your normal skin. Hope this helps. God bless!
