Sugar in fruit is called fructose, and fruit has sugar, but not a lot.. A small apple has 75 calories, a peach 45, a cup of strawberries has 55. Sorry, don't have grams info. Compare that to a 4 inch section of a nine inch apple pie, at 330 calories. The most calories come from added sugar, the thickener, and the crust.
Hope this helps.
