Why is there no footage of the plane that crashed into the pentagon?

I live in Northern Virginia less that 20 miles from the Pentagon. My God Daughter's mother works for DoD and lives less than 5 miles from the Pentagon. Half of my friends work for DoD or their contractors. Some of them were stationed in Crystal city just across from the pentagon, they saw it. Others were working at the Pentagon that day, some of them were helping the injured. Some of our friends, neighbors and relatives saw the plane hit while they were on route 395/95 that runs by the Pentagon. A business associate lost both his parents on the plane that hit the Pentagon. A co-worker's best friend's mother was killed while at her desk in the Pentagon. At the time another friend of mine lived in a penthouse that had a view on the Pentagon and the Potomac river. We saw it. Were all the inhabitants of the Washington Metropolitan area hypnotized into believing we saw something that didn't happen?
Note DoD = Department of Defense for the ignoramuses who did not know that.

There is a Pentagon security video, and it doesn't look much like a plane. This video was recently legitimized. It was recently officially released by the Pentagon to quell the debate that it was in fact a plane. In the opinion of many it is this very video that raised the question of what did hit the pentagon in the first place when it surfaced unofically shortly after 9-11.

There is some footage that has been shown, is only a very few seconds caught by a security camera i believe, showing the plane going into the building. Otherwise at that particular time, no one was shooting film in that spot. What was from NYC was due to a lot of people in the area, and more chances of footage. also check yahoo under images for "plane wreckage at the pentagon"

The only reason the first plane that flew into the World Trade Center was caught on tape was becuase somebody was filming a documentary of a local fireman, heard a noise in the sky, turned, and saw it hit throught the camera. Once the first plane hit, TV crews started to cover it, which is how they got the 2nd plane on tape. However, nobody knew if there was going to be a 3rd plane, or if there was, where it was going to hit. I read that the White House or the Capital Building were at first thought of as more likely targets, so TV crews were probably covering those areas more than the Pentagon.

I don't think any plane did: I mean am I seriously supposed to believe that the center of THE worlds most powerful military was hit by a jumbo jet??

If something that big, and that slow, can strike the Pentagon, how the heck can they stop a missile???

What hits it next? An aircraft carrier?

And that first link is useless: there is no way that little puny explosion is a plane carrying thousands of gallons of jet fuel. I saw bigger explosions in Die Hard.

It was rated Top secret for a while. Recently the Pentagon did release some footage of the destruction.. but not the collisions itself.

Does anyone have a site that actually shows plane wreckage? I have seen the photographs that show nothing to prove it. Are there any photos available to prove the conspiracy theorists wrong?

There was, it was from a surviellence camera but it only caught a little of it but you could see that it was a plane not a bomb. I think you can see it on one of the news web sites I saw it on tv
