If You Score 117 on an IQ test, whats that mean... is it good, or bad, or what?

80-110 is average range, 117 is pretty good but not quite superior which I think is 120 or more. There are many kinds of IQ, the one you're thinking of is probably an overall general IQ. There are more specific ones that can show you where your strengths and weakness are. You may have one that could be less than 80 and still have one that's in the 120 range, but basically, you're well over above average.

That depends upon which test you took. Some grade tougher than others. 100 is the average IQ. It means one scores 100% of what is considered normal. Some tests say the range of 90-110 is average. By this standard, you are a bit brighter than average, but on other tests, you are in the average range.

No offense, but some free Internet IQ tests are fake and don't deliver a correct answer.
If you took an Intelligence Quotient standardized test, 117 is really good.

I scored 117 and it said I was of average intelligence. That score is close to being above average if that makes you feel better.

IQ really means nothing, you could have an extremely high IQ and still be a complete idiot! You can have a average IQ and be what you were made to be and be the best at it!
