The bible has been rewritten several times in different languages. All it takes is ONE major screw up about heaven and hell and you're on your way to the lake of fire because you've been mislead

Even if the translators were absolutely correct, error in interpretation can also have the same effect. Read in the wrong context, follow the wrong instinct and its bathing in hell with AL Pacino... oh wait that was a movie with Keanu Reeves...
Bible was written around 2000 years ago, Cultures change... slang changes, connotations for words change. Less that 50 years ago, the word Gay meant Happy and Jouyful, now it CAN also mean a Homosexual.
Try telling people 2000 years ago "Wassup man" or " You're so FLY" they are gonna think you are casting a spell on them lol.
Given that, Spiritual Truths don't change and are flawless... but then again Humans Priests and Preachers are not. Less learned Devotees of whatever Gods are even less so.

I agree. The bible is a translation, and it's been rewritten more than a few times in lots of languages. I also think it's a mistake for people to take it literally, but people do what they want. I don't believe in hell. It's a huge waste of energy and space, and I don't think God's a waster...

Oh hell is very real my friend. You are obviously living in your own personal hell right now. That's why your life is void and meaningless. But there is still hope for you. I am praying for you.

Dude!That so reminds me of this joke.An elderly monk comes running into the head of his order's office with a crumbling manuscript containing the philosophies with which the order has been living by accordingly for their entire establishment,which he throws down on the guys desk.The Head of the order looks up and asks 'Yes,Brother?' and the elderly monk points to the 1500 year old parchment and says "CELEBRATE! if that is your belief then why ridicule and make fun of what others believe in? if that's your way of making fun i suggest you come and believe God so as to make you really happy. i think you're not happy with atheism so you go and mae fun of other beliefs. come, join us, it's real joy believing and putting your tust in the One True God

hell means miseries,pain ,agony,physical and mental ill health etc.etc. where as heaven means peace,happiness and bliss,positive thinking etc.etc.-both depends upon yr very deeds,r directly related to yr doings,thus bible has nothing to do with yr deeds or its translation has hardly impect on one's life circle.
