The two best consumer programs are Roxio Videowave and Pinnacle Studio. Both are intuitive, easy to use, and inexpensive. As for replay, all you have to do is put the clip in the timeline twice. Any of these programs or Movie Maker allow you to do this. You can also do slow motion or reverse by changing the speed.

IMHO the best video edting software for the casual user is Pinnacle Studio. Easy to use. Great results. What more can I say?

ok so you have 3 options. these tell you how to get the subtitles onto the video, not how to get the program. thats up to you. use your brain, google it, whatever. anyways, you got windows movie maker and imovie which is at http://www.jakeludington.com/ask_jake/20050921_making_movie_subtitles.html

the second ones for dvds, but youll figure something out
