Prevention is great and you got lots of answers there that are good and correct. If you get them massage the muscle toward you heart, gentle manipulation can cause the condition to go away. I also use some deep muscle relaxant salve that I get off the Inet called "The original Blue Stuff"
If you have someone to help you massaging both ends toward the center can also cause some relief.

Cramps are basically caused by dehydration, which thereby reduces potassium in our body. Keep youselves well hydrated. Drink lot of water. Like somebody said taking potassium supplements will also help. Hope this helps you.

Hi,
last times when I'm still teenager, my foot always cramps due to excessive exercises.
my mom says not enough salt in the body system.
so recommend put a bit of salt in the water.just to have the taste and drink it.
WORKS for me.

Leg cramps can be from a potassium deficiency. Eat bananas.

i'm getting extremely undesirable charlie horses at nite sum cases and its regularly because im somewhat dehdyrated my advice at the same time as it takes position placed some salt on the end of ur tongue i dont kno why notwithstanding it extremely works and it helps soothe the soreness. oh and drink sum more effective water believe that could help

i had same problem,but now no problem at all,drink more n more n more water i mean 15 to 16 glass of water.

You need more potasium in your system.Try potasium pills or a banana a day.
