i tell him...but he doesn't listen...i don't understand how someone can go with out a shower for like three or four days...he also will sometimes wear the same clothes for several days in a row...including boxers...i have to sometimes ask him to change...what should i do?...it's like he isn't hearing me...he isn't getting the hint...

at the moment his oder offends you, tell him how you feel.
maybe even talk to one of his buddies about saying something to him...

You need to tell him straight up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell him that personal hygeine is very important to you. If he is not going to do it for himself then the least he can do is do it for you. If he is not going to shower daily he needs to change his undies daily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make sure he is wearing deodorant and brushing his teeth.
If you two are sexually active, make it worth his while....draw a bath with some candles and take a bath together.....take a shower together. OR He may need to talk to someone.
But communication is the way to go.........Honey, you are grossing me out!!!!!!!!! You need to get your skanky *** in the shower, put on clean boxers and clean clothes. Sad to say, but I don't know if that would be something that I could get passed. I hope that you are able to work things out. Talk with his parents, see if something happened in his passed that has made him feel this way.

Hide his socks.... no wait, that's probably not a good answer as then he'll have an excuse to not change them...
I guess if it bugs you that much, then just bug him about it each day. A simple reminder ought not to hurt. Or just poke him until he goes and has a shower.

Or stop complaining - either live with him or live without him.

raise his arms up and spray the arm pits with some type of household cleaner and maybe he will get the hint that he stinks and needs a bath.
