The best answer that I can give can be found in the Gospel of John using a word study of belief, believe, believer, and nonbeliever. This is how Jesus identified people. It will tell you how to act as well.

If life has any purpose, it's what you decide. There are no gods, so take responsibility for your life. Preachers will tell you what God wants from you, and it includes attending their churches and putting much cash in plates for regular offering, special offering and building fund. My sister gives her church $50 per month. If she saved that instead of handing it to a church, she'd have enough to buy four of my 47 watches in 73 years...if she lives 93 years like our Aunt Helen.

I think that man's pride is what keeps him from turning to God. Furthermore, man has repeated this sin for thousands of years. For instance, in Judges 21 verse 25, it states "In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Sadly, many people still don't want a King to rule over them so they reject the King of Kings... Christ. Pride was the sin of Lucifer and the cause of his downfall, too.

Maybe your God isn't their God.

For example: Did your God support torturing America's enemies in Guantanimo bay?

My God sends people to hell for that, but I'm a Christian. So you see, one's personal choice as to which God to have faith in can influence where/when/how/why they try to discover their life's purpose.

I think it's a fine idea, and this is a biased question. Why turn to an imaginary friend to find the purpose of life?

I believe that studying religion from an anthropological or philosophical point of view is an excellent way of gaining knowledge about the human condition. It also gives a person insight into him/herself.

Believing the mythology ends the discovery.

that's if truth be told depending upon a pretend pride that one does not favor God. finished independence from God is depending upon our favor to be God. God extremely made us that way, yet left us with the right thanks to head about it. He gave us the potential to be like Him, yet purely as a lot simply by the indisputable fact that's a threat (constrained) for a creature to finish that. maximum persons go about it the incorrect way.

i think it is because most people think that they choose there own destiny but really they dont it is god who does.

you allways here everyone sayen either that you choose your own destany or god gives us chooses to help chooose owr destany.

but the truth is is that he already has his plan for us. he already knows what is goin to happen to us and what we are going to choose. that is why he created people such as missonaries to tell people about him and alll of his creations.

and for fbi3255 god did not make us fight and argue that was his strayed angle lousifer. he does not like it when we argue or disagree, or fight one another. that is why when people do fight with people who are following god the people who are fallowing god have a better out come. because they dont fight back, because they no that there savour will take care of them in the end. and they dont want to do ne thing to disapoint him.
