Will there ever be a day when there is a WiccaVision cable channnel or a Wicca-affiliated hospital, school, etc.? Will elderly witches someday go to the Wicca retirement home? Or will it always just be a few people meeting in someones basement?

I dont see how they ever could, Wiccan's adopted a basic philosophy that was designed in the 1940's and 50's by Gerald Gardner and then many have added their own special little "touches" that gives it a wide variety of beliefs and practices.
They incorporate a vast array of mythological characters, gods and goddesses and pick the ones that "fit" them as individuals.
It is a religion without a doctrine, it's basically the worship of everything which essentially amounts to nothing.

I would like to see a day when something that is publicly affiliated with Wicca or Paganism isn't picketed or discriminated against by less tolerant members of other religions. Hope springs eternal.

Since it's already past the "a few people meeting in someone's basement" phase, the last part of your question is moot.

I would like to see a day when this comes. It would be wonderful! In the UK, they have shows and networks that are Wicca affiliated, but as far as in the US, I'm not sure that anything like that will ever happen! People are too biased, they believe that it is Satanism and will never see any difference, but if it keeps growing like it is now, then hopefully one day we will see programs and such that are Wiccan. As far as 'just a few people meeting in someone's basement', that is ridiculous and not true.

Probably not, just for the reason that most practioners are loners. And Wicca is widely misunderstood as being a satanic devil worship club. (It is not any of those things.) We're in a climate of the Jesus Chrispies ruling by fear. Those of us who seek our own truth still have to find others doing the same and band together.

If you really wanted to start your own group, I guess you could do it the way Christians do it by asking for donations or a sponsership. Again, a hard call when most American's are fearful Christians.

There are institutions like the Circle Sanctuary in Wisconsin and The Aquarian Tabernacle in Washington. There is also Witchschool right here in Illinois.

one step after other. first, we have a huge preconception and discrimination. not in every Country Wicca is allowed and there is the Xians funds to fight back. when this solved, we can think about change the system, not just make charity.
