Yes, they should have the right. A home with 2 loving parents is better than foster care or growing up with someone who can't care for the child properly.

yes. i think that every loving, competant adult should have the right to have children. i just wonder how having gay parents will affect the children emotionally. i don't mean to sound prejudiced at all, it's just a consideration, which i think is very important. but then, all children have emotional times for all kinds of reasons, no matter who their parents are. and i truly think that most gay people who want to adopt a child would make fantastic parents and raise fantastic individuals.

There are not enough men / women couples willing to adopt children that need homes. So is it better that these children stay orphans or be adopted by gay couples. My personal feeling is they will get more love in their life from gay couples then staying orphans.

Why shouldn't they be able to? Seriously give just one good reason. A child that gets a chance to be raised by two loving people is one of the greatest gifts of all. Who cares about the gender of these loving people? As far as a female and male outlook, that is 100% irrelevant. If no one was brought up right who didn't have have a constant male and female influence, then pretty much NO ONE was brought up right (myself included).

Oh yes!
I would agree with most; so long as the child is brougt up in a loving / caring environment than it shouldn't matter! The only thing to consider would be the possibility of the child's self-esteem being hurt growing up with "many" rough comments. But over-all, Love will prevail! Cheers!

Yes I do. I think a child is better off in a home with 2 gay parents than stuck in hte foster care system without a sense of "home." I think they're better off in a stable home than moving around all the time. I think they're better off in a home with 2 gay people that are loving and caring and who do not abuse them than in a house with a mother and father who are always fighting, screaming or with abuse of any kind.

As long as the household is loving and stable, anyone should be able to adopt. There are too many unwanted kids out there to go saying, "You can only adopt if you are x, y and z".

Yeah, I think anyone who want's to raise a child in a loving, caring, and safe environment should be able to adopt. Lord knows, my "straight" parents really messed up my life!

It's important for a child to feel that they have people who love them regardless of who they are. Nevertheless, I feel that they also need a male and female outlook. Men and women think differently whether they be gay or not.
