Are our standing treaties with Mexico etc. valid or not? Do we need to rewrite them?

Don't be silly. First, Mexico belonged to the Spanish. So, if anything was stolen it was from Spain. Second, if it wasn't for the U.S., Mexico would still belong to Spain. Third, the people who were on whatever land became part of the U.S. stayed in the U.S., and their descendants are damn glad they did. The real complaint, is why didn't the U.S. take all of Mexico during the 1800s. After all that is what the illegals want.

The treaties are valid, although I would like to revoke NAFTA. Then I would like a new one requiring all Mexicans to be honest, then the Mexicans could stay in Mexico. (and have a decent economy, too.)

Well, from your question, I think we would need to go far back in time...who did the Spanish steal the land from, and then who did the Aztecs steal the land from and in ad finitum. Land is won or bought or lost by wars...treaties only end wars. So the treaties are in effect but not completely enforced. The 'Native Americans' claim the same but it is the winner of a battle or war that takes the land....is it right or fair is a different point. What about the aborigines of Australia or the Hawaiians? Were the lands stolen or won or what? Apply your logic to the world....the Soviet Union, the Axis, the Japanese, the French...who did what to whom?

Mexico was paid for all the land. That Mexico has a long history of corrupt leaders is their problem, not America's.

Truth is, they actually controlled very little of it.
Most of the southwest was under the complete control of the Apache and Comanche, only a few places were under Spanish control. When Mexcio became independent, she ignored her northern citizens and they were left to fend for themselves. Also, Mexico actively recruited American settlers to kill off the Indians and settle the lands in these areas.

A better argument can be made that parts of America were sold out of greed than taken out of force. These people need to blame someone for their economic woes and world standing. What was it that kept mexico from being a first world power?

I agree with de rak: You got some great answers to this question here that should really put this particular pro-illegal defense to rest, but, because they are not reasonable or logical people, we will continue to see "America stole our land" in future posts here. Guaranteed!

yes i agree but i also admit that they got every thing by doing hard work and the land they slot from others this is because of the weakness of others they do this because they have the capability to do this.

That's just another one of the lies they tell. We didn't steal anything from Mexico.
