Tell her your reasons....why you want to go. Tell her any advantages that going to that school would be. Ask her for her reasons why she won't let you. If it's a private school you are wanting to go to and she says it's the money and you're old enough, tell her that you could get a part time job to help pay.

Then it's really up to her.

Logically. You have to point out parts of the school that she would like. You also are REALLY going to have to just work on convincing her that that is your true calling and somehow, gently make her realize that it is your life and not hers. Good luck.

well why do you want to go there? i'll bet it's because your friends go there. i had the same problem. all my friends went to the same high school and i was going to this private school. to make a long story short, i still hang-out with my old friends and made some life long buddies in the process. so i say just stay where you are.

Maybe, if you try to show that you are a little smarter by spelling correctly and using proper grammar. And take her to the school. She might let you go. That worked with my mom.

If she is trying to keep you from going for a good reason, then LISTEN. But if not, just tell her its time she let you start making some decisions in your own life.

oh i miss how life use to be so easy back then..well you should ask yourself why do you really want to go to this school..then figure out why your mom wants you to go to the other school..if its an issue of money you will hve to be respect itand move on..but if there is no real inconvenience to your mom then you should stand up and tell her in a mature way thereasons why you should go to this school..believe in yourself and it will happen,

Well, if it is a good school then you can highlight the advantages of that school. Tell her about the good activities [ extra curricular] going on and make sure you highlight all postive points.
Good luck.

Just tell her.
I want to do things that I am enjoy doing...it...whether is for now, in the past, or in the future.
I will have no regrets for what I determined to do even 10 years from now.

Listen to your mother! Moms are moms for a reason! They are older and wiser than you and all teenagers need to accept that even if it doesn't fit into their self centered plans!

MOMS RULE!!!!!!!

unfortunatly it is pretty impossible to convince parents of anything and although you may not realize this now they do know what is best for you[in most cases], especially when it comes to your education.
