I mean it is hard to say to a little child who is dying or cancer that God has a plan for them - or a little baby girl who dies at birth

God has known us way before we were in our mother's wombs. He does have a plan for us, the plan is for us to spend all eternity with Him. However, some don't believe in God at all, others believe in God but not the Triune, yet others believe in just a Superbeing. God's plan is not our plan. Just like God's timing is not our timing. We can't have all the answers of why things happen in the lives of all people. For instance, your two examples are good ones to ask. The child who is laying there dying of cancer may not be of God doing, but the short time this child has been here, the child has touched more lives than you realize. The baby girl who died at birth, could have saved the parents lots of heart attack, stress, etc.; we will not know the reasoning of the baby girl's death. God is a loving God, He is also a jealous God. But, if you read the Bible you will see that God's plan is for all mankind to come unto Him through way of His begotten Son, Jesus Christ. But, there are some out here that think this is just a fairytale and those that believe in God and the Triune are weak minded individuals. The thing is, if we who believe in God and stand solely on His Word are wrong, we really have not lost nothing when we die. Whereas if those that don't believe in God and His Word die and find out that God is REAL, they have lost much more than they chewed off.

Why is it that people question God and the things that happen in this world? It is merely man that makes the decision to do whatever, look at the invasion of Iraq. Was it planned by God that GW Bush went over the UN and invaded Iraq? When in fact there was NO reason to go in there at the time GW Bush ordered our troops to invade? It was not God's doing, but mere man. A man who is like the bully of the class. Is it God's plan that our service men and women die in the war in Iraq? No, God didn't send them there GW Bush did.

We are to love all just as we love ourselves. That is the one commandment that Jesus spoke clearly about. We are to obey God and love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

Why is it that there are so many out here that say God is not real? Can you answer that?

You raise an excellent point. Ray Comfort & Kirk Cameron's "Way of the Master" ministry is centered around this and would be an awesome place for you to check out.

By the way, no, that verse is not a specific promise for every Christian. It was promised to the Israelites during the Babylonian captivity. It is misused by many modern-day Christians with good intentions, but it's misuse all the same.

It applies to everyone because God doesn't create people for no reason. You can tell a child dying of cancer that God loves them so much that He can't wait for them to be with Him.

Absolutely!

I believe that we go through everything for a reason. For we often need to be hit over the head with the negatives in life to learn how to avoid them in the future.

These life lessons teach us how to become successful, especially when we overcome the difficulties in life.

So yes, I do believe that God has plans for us. It's just that sometimes it's easier for us to follow the right path after we have made a few dumb moves on our own.

The extra I've found out approximately Louis Armstrong, the extra I bear in mind him my hero. He helped combine an overly divided America & virtually all modern song is not directly prompted by means of him. Absolutely Love him for his diligence and constant positivity.

It is as applicable as it was when it was origionally put on paper. God does have a single plan for each of us. IF we didn't go around screwing him up all of the time with free will we might even be able to figure out what it was.

ha? Forget that verse. Some wana be God's close friend wrote that. Any ways, don't associate every thing with God. God has created the world and given it to us and most of all, he has given us BRAIN to use. So, let's use it.

I believe so, but remember we are born in sin and maybe those children were going to have a worst fate then death here on earth so he decided that the life of an angel would be better.
