Just be friends. Maybe something will happen between you in several years.

Dont do anything.
Go on breaking up and start making up.
Take the life as it comes.
Just allow them to think and act.
In your case, you stop thinking and confusing your self.
Wait for the time. Time is the solution.

If you like her try again...You two are so young i cant see where this would reck your friendship...My husband was my best friend for 10 years before we even started dating

ok first of all, dont listen to her mom, because 13 year old girls dont tell their mom's that kind of stuff. second of all... why are you asking her mom anyways?? and third.. if she wanted to date you, she would have said yes. she probably just wants to be your friend but doesnt want to hurt your feelings. sorry...

tell her that whatever happens you will always be friends. if she is afraid to be more than friends, then go out as friends. dont say it as a 'date'.go to movies, skating rings, parks, ...make it casual.slowly she will come to you. take it slow and be friends first.

BOTH OF YOU ARE YOUNG, SO I WOULD SUGGEST THAT'
YOU NEED TO MOVE ON, AND FIND SOMEONE THAT WILL
WANT A REALTIONSHIP WITH YOU, AND NOT THE WHAT
IF, WHICH IT SOUND LIKE WHAT THIS IS, BUT BOTH OF
YOU JUST NEED TO GROW SOME MORE,
