Hizbollah is firing rockets at Israeli cities. They are not aimed at military targets but are intended to kill civilians. Israel is defending itself from that aggression. Lebanon as a soverign nation is supposed to police its borders and not allow an entity to exist that intends for the destruction of its neighbor unless they are doing the work of Lebanon. Actually when Israel withdrew from Lebanon they were under UN mandate to do just that and apparently they lied because they took no steps after that to stop Hizbollah. The Hizbollah murderers care little for their own people and hide their rocket launchers in villages throughout southern Lebanon. Israel has a right ot target these areas because if they did not neutralize the launchers Hizbollah would target Israeli civilians from them. By targeting bridges, roads, the airport they are preventing Hizbollah from reinforcing themselves. Israel warns Lebanese to leave before they strike. Hizbollah simply trys to kill as many Israeli civilians as they can.
Every time Arab countries have tried to destroy Israel they have failed. Each time Israel has grown larger and more powerful. Soon Hizbollah will declare a great victory. After the Hizbollah victory Israel will build a security wall at the Lebanese Litani river and annex that part of Lebanon south to their old border. It will be similar to the annexation of the Golan Heights from Syria. It will be justified to keep Lebanon and their surrogate Hizbollah from attacking Israel. The civilians who used to live there will become refugees and not be allowed to return to their old villages in the former southern Lebanon because their presence will create a security problem. Just notrth of the Litani River either in Lebanon or just in Syria is Mt. Hermon. In the bible that was the place that Moses died after he lead the Jews into the land of Caanan, a land promised to the Jewish people by God. Where will the Arab's struggle to destroy Israel and the Jewish people take them next?

Because the world knows that Israel was attached and they are just fighting off the terrorist that run the country of Lebanon . These people are the ones that killed those Marines in Lebanon a few years ago . Are you an American ?

The aggression by Israel?
Israel was attacked by the Hizbollah, who crossed over into Israeli territory and kidnapped 2 soldiers and killed several others.
Israel has the right to defend itself and to make things as rough for Hizbollah as possible. They want their soldiers back, and they want to make Hizbollah disband and ensure that they will not be attacked again, anytime soon.
What the world should be doing is helping Israel stop the terrorists called Hizbollah.

You are an Arab so you're fed a line of crap. I've read the Qu'ran and I know what it says about Jews. The Jews are the ONLY Republic in the middle-east. The Lebanese are getting what they deserve. My only regret is they aren't pushing on to Syria, Jordan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. Maybe America could even join. Never forget 9/11!

because they didn't start it. Thats the funny thing, hezbollah started it to get attention to their problem and they get isreali bombs and blamed for it all and in the end they'll be disarmed. Are all terrorists this stupid or is it just this one. Frankly buddy lebanon should have disarmed hezbollah a long time ago, since the goverment nor the people did it isreal will and they goverment and people get to suffer because they lacked the courage to do what needed to be done.

because israel is taking a step that the rest of the world is reluctant to do, so we sit around looking at the ground kicking the dust. tipical of a democracy, I wish we could live up to the ideals that this one based on. wait, thats right, start to reenstate congress with one middle of the road senator perstate! perfection, until the next war at least.....

Israel is defending itself. Would you want to be in a Country attacked and told you cannot defend it????? You should do your homework, learn how to spell, then come back and ask a question that makes sense.

what makes people think Hezbollah is a terrorist? i have nothing to do with Hezbollah, but does anyone here knows the history of Hezbollah? what will you do if someone captures your house and tortures and tries to enslave your family? are you gonna strike back with all you got? even if that means killing yourself? suicide bombing? think over it before saying Hezbollah a terrorist?
what do you think is bush doing? is he not terrorizing people at middle east? Hezbollah might be involved in individual terrorism, America is seriously involved in "state terrorism," think over it....
