Well, i'm young and I recently ( 8 months or so ago) came out as gay. I feel like i'm ready to start dating but i'm not sure where to start. I go to local public places and events but I having a hard time picking out who's gay and who's straight. I also feel like if I could act more gay or appear more gay in the public eye then maybe more guys would realize i'm gay.

Some guy from N'Sync is on the cover of a few magazines this week confessing his homosexuality. I say get a photo of yourself and paste it over his, then distribute it to all of the guys you want to be aware of your tendency. Good luck to you.

Please be careful in your coming out to the world. I think its wonderful that you are out of your closet and accepting the path that is yours to run. Most "gay" individuals know when someone is. I don't think you need to be running around with a pink triangle and a rainbow tatooed on you heiney screaming "Were queer were here, get used to it". You could be asking for negative attention. Most gay men are proud to be gay but I don't think they are going out of their way to attract extra added publicity. (I have many gay friends..have seen this first hand). I would suggest checking phone books and papers in your area to see where young single gay men are meeting. PLEASE be careful, clubs aren't always the safest place either. Lastly, you can always check the net. Being gay is no different than being straight when it comes to finding the right partner...when ya know..you will know

go to local gay clubs, ask your friends if they know any gay activities in your area. dont go so crazy that the bashers get a hold of you, be careful please. but with us lesbians, just a nice look eye contact helps. get that self esteem up while you are at it.
oh it does work if you look at a guy up and down with lust in your eyes for him...that works for the lesbians to get there attention.:)

p.s. gay men take there time to look good, even if its just to go down the street for a drink, gay men take pride in themselves more extreme than str8 women do. if you wear loud strong cologne, your clothes are almost perfect, you look like a gq model every day, yeah you are gay. if you wear more hairspray then woman do you are gay. honey, be patient, these things do stand out. go on with your bad self, good luck to ya

go to a gay club because straight men don't go there and make sure to dress extremely nice and wear extremely nice shoes and get a man pedicure and manicure have your hair cut every two weeks things like this
