They are the ones feeding these people. Why so mad about the illegals breaking our laws? Shouldn't we be more upset at the people who are really giving our jobs away and just creating even more a problem?

Ok, I'm really saying that if the companies didn't hire these people, it would be close to pointless for them to come. If you cut off the head, the body will die. Stop letting them work here and they'll stop wanting to come..

Mona- How am I misinformed? I didn't say don't be mad at illegals. I said to put most of the blame on the companies that hire them.

Yes, people should be upset - I am very upset with the companies who hire illegals. "If you build it - they will come" is very true. If the companies continue to dangle the carrot in front of the illegals, they will continue to find ways to come. The companies should all be hit as hard as possible for hiring illegals.

If there are truly jobs that Americans do NOT want to do but are jobs that need to be done and the only ones willing to do them are immigrants who are currently illegal, then I do believe there should be a program in place for corporations to hire these people to come here to do those jobs; HOWEVER, these jobs and these employers and the people they hire needs to be FULLY documented and FULLY monitored! The companies need to provide proper housing and proper accounting for ALL the worker's and those employers need to be FULLY responsible for them, and I am talking 100%! NONE of these employees should EVER get free medical care, education, welfare or any benefits WHATSOEVER from the government of the USA! They should NOT ever be allowed to bring other family members into the country. If they do, they should be deported immediately, ALL OF THEM, and the company should face heavy-duty fines for this happening. When the jobs are done or if an employee is not satisfactory, it should be at the employer's expense to transport the employee back to their home country. There should be NO ANCHOR BABY loopholes for any of these workers in the US - if they get with a legal citizen and have a baby, that baby should only receive citizenship through the legal US citizen parent and the "guest worker" (or whatever you want to call it) parent should receive NO benefits through this association of having a child in the US, whatsoever! If a "guest worker" and another "guest worker" have a child together in the US, that child should NOT have US citizenship - it should ONLY have the citizenship of its parents' home countries. When the temporary work of the parents in the US is done, the parents and child should be transported back home to their own country AT THE EMPLOYER'S EXPENSE! If employers are found to be negligent in monitoring the whereabouts of these employees that they have sponsored to come work for them, the employers should receive a HEAVY monetary fine and repeated offenses should be cause of heftier fines and/or jail to the employer and that company should be refused further "guest workers." ALL extra costs of these employees should be billed back to the employers, such as medical costs. Under NO circumstances should a guest worker receive any kind of social benefits WHATSOEVER. All their needs should be borne by their employers.

Even though some people are breaking the law and working in the US, but they're still some people are trying their best to feed to family, 'cause their own country is really poor and these people are sending money home to help their relatives and families. I don't think people should be upset. Legal or illagals, they're still people and they have their own right to be here and work. Why creating bigger problems when illegals are working??!! The bosses should just stay back and let the workers do the job. It doesn't matter who does it, as long as it's good. I mean, what difference does it make if legals and illegals are working? Legal workers aren't magical, or something!!!

Legitimate companies do not employ anyone without a SS. They will be fined. By tax records, an employer has to justify where money has been spent so paying under the table (without federal taxes, social security, state taxes) would invite an audit and perhaps even imprisonment. However there are laws about casual labor, where farmers or others can employ people and pay them by cash...you mow my grass and I give you $10.00 or pick tomatoes, strawberries, peaches and such...taxes are not collected by the employer and left to the laborer to be honest and report his earnings. A facotry can not operate in this manner, and because of the language barrier, most of the illegals are cut out of the marketing fields or public contact...it leaves them to manual labor. While large farming corporations do exist, and use these workers, most operations are small farmers that need a bit of help and pay poorly.

You are right. The problem is that the Reagan immigration laws from 1986 didn't put any teeth into enforcement. It takes multiple willful violations to trigger a slap on the wrist.

Recently the government went after a Kentucky home builder. It was made tougher to prosecute because they used a front company as subcontractor.

One jailed employer will deter a thousand. One hundred jailed employers will eliminate the problem.

If the illegals didn't break the law to begin with-the companies couldn't exploit them. The biggest blame goes on the first to break the law
Do you blame the molester who takes a job at a school more than the school who hires them?
Both our the blame--but the first one to break the law is more

Give me a break. I have watched this campaign against illegal immigrants and their employers go on long enough. This country, yes the entire country, has been built on illegal immigrants. The line in the sand has been drawn every 30 years or so and it doesn't stick. I don't care who you are, unless you are native American, 'you are' or 'are the descendant of illegal immigrants.'

English, Chinese, Irish, Slovaks,Thai, Croats, Arabs, Israelis,Vietnamese, Germans, Mexicans, French, Brazilians, Welsh,Japanese, Argentinians, Hungarians, Cubans, Dutch, Salvadorans, Swedish, Guatemalan, Russian, Costa Rican, Norwegian, Jamaican, Sudanese or from anywhere on the African continent. Our history runs rough and hard. We are the Home of the Free And the Land of the Brave. Deal with it. Overcome it. Adapt to it. We have in the past and we will now.

That has been my point all along. You see a lot of people complaining that their jobs are being stolen by illegals but do you actually see the companies hiring legal citizens? No. Why? Because it all comes down to greed.

Yes, I agree.

Illegal immigrants are really just trying to find a better life for themselves. How can we blame them for that?

The market for illegal immigrants is created by those who hire them. They are exploiting people in need for the sake of profit.

But it's stretching things to say that they're giving our jobs away. They're not giving away any jobs that I want. But if you're willing to do backbreaking work for low wages, you can get those jobs too.

Yes I don't agree with companies hiring illegals. It is illegal and it only encourages people here to come in illegally.
The federal gov. needs to make it a felony to hire illegal aliens.

You are very misinformed. They are using government programs, welfare, overflowing our schools, and coming here to have babies so they will be entitled to benefits. I think we should be angry at both the employers giving them jobs but also the illegals for taking advantage when they really have no right to!
