I totally disagree with your opinion. I believe that you are a bit ignorant and should try seeing things through a different perspective; put yourself in their shoes. In addition, you should try being more optimistic.

It doesn't matter what we think at this point. The simple fact is that if someone is born on American soil then they are Americans. That is the law and part of the constitution. Live with that fact.
Now each case is different and should be addressed in that matter. I do believe that if the mother is here just to have the baby , yes they should be sent back to the country they came from. But not with standing that, the baby is still an American born citizen.

It Dont Matter Anymore
Thats Already Been Written To Law
We (The Citizens) Haven't Been Paying Attention
The key to undoing
the current misinterpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment
is this odd phrase
"AND SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION THEREOF."
The whole problem is caused by the fact that
the meaning of this phrase,
which was clear to anyone versed in legal language in 1868,
has slipped with changes in usage.
Fortunately, there is a large group of court precedents
that make clear what the phrase actually means:
The Fourteenth Amendment excludes the children of aliens.
(The Slaughterhouse Cases (83 U.S. 36 (1873))
The Fourteenth Amendment draws a distinction
between the children of aliens
and children of citizens.
(Minor v. Happersett (88 U.S. 162 (1874))
The phrase "subject to the jurisdiction"
requires "direct and immediate allegiance" to the United States,
not just physical presence.
(Elk v. Wilkins 112 U.S. 94 (1884))
There is no automatic birthright citizenship in a particular case.
(Wong Kim Ark Case, 169 U.S. 649 (1898))
The Supreme Court has never confirmed birthright citizenship
for the children of illegal aliens, temporary workers, and tourists.
(Plyler v. Doe, 457 U.S. 202, 211 n.10 (1982))
There are other cases referring to minor details of the question.

No! I think that most immigrants come to this country with a belief that they are going make it big if they work hard. They work many jobs, and there are several family's staying in one apartment. They combine their money so that they can stretch their dollars. If someone gets pregnant or is slacking in work, they will get a boiling out from the rest of their family. Because they come to this country knowing that they have only the money that they came with, Usually that is in the thousands of dollars. Don't be fooled they may look like they don't have any money but they do. Some of them may do the things that you are saying. However, most of them don't, they don't have the luxury of being born with a silver spoon in their mouth like you and I. They can be deported at any time.

Yes the child should go with the parent. What kind of selfish parent would leave a child of hers here . That shows a lack of morals on her part. A good mother would want to know she is teaching her children right and not leave it in others hands-unless their is abuse in her own home.
And I hope that God up on your post-isn't the same pervert who posted about sex with his daughter the other day. And than switch his IDS as someone else. And people supported this pervert just because of his stand on immigration. How disgusting. If it is he should be deported or exile-what a disgusting man. I don't think it is --I hope not.

Uh, maybe your ancestors...
I think people forget that we are all immigrants and children of immigrants here in the US.
Unless you're Native American, stop complaining!

"He makes sure that orphans and widows are treated fairly; he loves the foreigners who live with our people, and gives them food and clothes.
So then, show love for those foreigners, because you were once foreigners in Egypt." (Deuteronomy 10:18)
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free..."
One thing you have to admit about immigrants...they probably worked hard to get here. How hard did you work to get here?

Yes.
Nick N. kids are sent back with their illegal parents unless the parents have someone to leave them with in the US.
I think they should stay with their parents, because I think that's where kids should be.

Ask the "immigrants" first who are also your parents by the way and tell them the same thing. Would they do that?
