For those of you who think that America is a country of immigrants yes we did take it by force, but we still CONQUERED it. As unfair as it may have been. When the illegal immingrants come over here and stay and have babies they show us that they have no respect for the laws of the land. They need to respect the law. No matter what.

You invaded indian lands illegally and failed to give indians due process or treat them fairly , Invaders acted in an illegal manner and though we had no world court to protect the indians and mexico then,But we do now and their is no statute of limitations on war crimes.
So your saying its ok because you conquered / stole some one elses lands at the point of a gun, and you consider that legal?
Then you must also agree that mexicans can invade your homes and kill your familys and take your property because they conquered you at the point of a gun, do I understand you right?
Or do you now consider that act illegal, ok for you, not ok for them?
Where was your respect for the laws of the indians lands and property when you invaded?
Yars/ Im not attacking your citizenship I like americans I just wished you were more considerate of the native people whos country you invaded, I like what you did with the place for the most part.
This is like invading africa and after saying I dont like blacks well then why did you invade in the first place?

Only if people have rights do they have an obligation to respect the law. So if illegal immigrants need to respect the law, they also deserve to have rights under that law.

oh shut up already! They dont just come here and make babies and very few are disrespectful. Why dont you go take a trip to all the countries that illegal immigrants come from. Take no money, and live in a small town. I'll time how long it takes for you to come illegally!

Answer to God ... they should indeed show respect for our laws, and our laws tell them that they're not allowed to be here illegally... once they have applied legally and received their green cards, they will get all the rights of a legal immigrant under that law .... just logic ...

I agree whole-heartledly. My family came over on the Mayflower. I'm not stupid, I know that that means they couldn't make it and they left it for greener pastures. I've been to Mexico, & I can understand why they would risk so much to be here, really. But when in America, speak American and act American. So many cultures, in the past, have melted to become what we are today. We are American, not Mexican, Arab, or any other nationality.
