While working with some Mexican Americans here in Saudi, i frequently hear them using the word. i am curious what it really mean or what it considered a "slang?"

Literally, it means a castrated goat; as a slang term it means a man who knowingly lets his wife cheat on him. Much like 'n****r' it can be used casually by friends but is a deadly insult when used by an outsider.

Normally, cabrón is the husband or the broyfriend of an unfaithful woman, is an expression that is used to insult.
In Spain also it is used for referise the male of the goat

Cabrón (for male) Cabrona (for female) is used by mexicans to describe someone who:1- it can be understood as " Dude " most of the times in a rude way, 2- can be cheating on somebody else.

it really depends on how and when is used. you can use it as... tu eres un cabron ( you are an asshole) eres el mas cabron(like saying.. you are the ****)

i would consider it as badass or hard ***... the way I've heard it is ... tu eres un cabron... something like that
