There is this cashier at the local store that I go to that I like. I gave her a rose Saturday night (at her work). I have been going in there awhile (months) now, and I wrote her a letter asking if she would like get together sometime to give me a call and i left my number. I drove down there then I thought I would come back here and get some input before I gave it to her. What would you think of a guy doing that? Would you be freaked or would you call him? I am not very good when it comes to asking females out. I can talk to any female but I don't know why but when I like them I can't untie my tongue.

when I gave her the rose she got a big smile and thanked me. There were other customers so I did not hang around because she had to work.

This is very typical...I have the same problem when I think a guy is hot. But, if you've already given her a rose & your number, maybe she's shy too? Either that, or not interested. Why not ask her to go get a cup of coffee with you when she get off work? You'll know by how she responds whether you want to pursue this any further or not.

Honestly different girls will handle it differently. I think that if you've made it clear before hand you are interested in her...ex. the rose..she may find it cute that you seem to be shy. If anything I would write in the letter why you didn't ask her straight out and maybe even do the if you want to be friends first thing that's cool so you can get to know each other better..Never know she may turn out to be the stalker..

I would get creeped out and the word stalker would flash in red in my head. I don't like guys asking me out at work, and I am not into the letter idea. If you want to ask me out, just do it.

I can't speak for your lady love, but I would be troubled by that approach and I wouldn't feel comfortable at work knowing that the stalkerish guy could walk in at any morment. Sorry not trying to be harsh, it just happened to me before, and I was not happy.

Down boy DOWN! If you gave her your number back off and wait. If you come on too strong you will freak her out and she will bolt. If she dosen't call in two days assume she isn't interested. Then if she calls after that you will be presently surprised. K?

I would let some time go by--she may think you are stalking her. I am a woman and if there is any advice I can offer, we like a little mystery and a challenge. If you appear too eager, it will destroy the potential attraction.

I think that's so sweet and if someone did that to me I would call him, but I would probably wait a while...so don't be worried if it's a couple of days before you do get the call, which you will.

Hello,
Yes, give her the note. I would be so touched if a guy did that. And the rose was very romantic.

i wouldnt neccessarily be freaked but i would like it so much better if he was to ask me out in person rather than a note. When you say it it shows how much you acctually like that person and how interested you are in that person. Goood Luck

just go.. ask her out! you wouldn't know if she likes you if you wouldn't try. i won't freak, if i am the girl. i would be flattered that someone appreciates my beauty. i know she will feel the same. but if things didn't work out, well, just think that she's not the one for you. good luck!!
