Well, if you really want to get rid of your period temporarily for the month, you can take 3 ibuprofen(200mg./ each) 3 times a day until it stops. The bleeding will slow and then stop. Other than that, I suggest taking a relaxing bath with lighted candles, eating chocolate, reading a favorite book, listening to relaxing music, or whatever the heck relaxes you. Just try to get through it. It's a beeatch. I know. I have terrible terrible PMS. One last thing I will suggest is a mild depression/ anxiety pill like Lexapro. That's what I take. It helps a little bit.

I had really bad periods until I went on the pill. All through middle and high school I had to cope in other ways. I found my saving grace was nice long walks with my dog and chocolate. Wearing clothes that let me ignore the water weight gain helps. I always joke it is the one day of the month that we act like men.

Try a multivitamin, then try exercise. I find that if I am active and eat healthy, I limit the mood swings considerably.
