Well at the start of your day, eat a can of re-fried beans. They are not bad for calories, low in fat, and has more dietary fiber than carbs. They are so fullfiling that you should stay satisfied past lunch. If beans arent your thing, then try other things rich in dietary fiber such as oatmeal and whole wheat pasta. Dietary fiber is the trick to not eating a whole lot of calories because you stay full a lot longer. Start exercising and drink lots of water. Also avoid anything that has sucralose (look at ingredients) in it. That artificial sweetener can cause slight depression.

Wish I could help you but I'm the same way. Most of the time as long as I keep busy I'm ok but the minute I stop and try to relax, all I can think about is food.
If you find the answer, please share it with me.
You're going to get a lot of answers from skinny little people telling you to just stop but they don't have the probelm and they don't know that it is easier said than done.
Good Luck.

depression, instant gratification....whatever it is i know the feeling. most of us are unhappy or lonely and bored.we turn to food to help us go through patches such as these, no matter how good looking, smart or successful a person can be e all have our personal demons.so first of all relax we are all in the same boat.
next if you hate something about yourself change it.
hate your body?
change it.
i am eating everything but stop after reaching 1200 calories the weight loss is slow but its a diet for life.also keeping active helps even if its a walk.

me too some days, but i've found if i can really unload my stress somewhere, i'm less inclined to eat. paintball rocks, especially getting to shoot the cause of my problems hehehe, my friend takes me to the shooting range sometimes too. walks are great reflective time and too far from the fridge. i threw out all my fat girl clothes so i have no choice but to wear my skinny clothes and that's a great deterrent. also, only keep health foods in the house, then it's less of a crime to eat it. then the last thing that has helped immensly is my family. my husband knows i'll clean the fridge with my face if i'm upset, so he checks on me if i'm in there alone for too long and will literally take it away from me! he tells me he loves me enough to make me mad because he knows i'll love me more if i don't eat the whole pan of lasagna. good luck and watch out for emotional triggers. drink a glass of water first and ask your friends and family for help. they want you in a healthy body too!

Drink a lot of water, keep excersizing, and use portion control. Have one plate of food and don't go back for seconds. Watch what you eat and then you won't have to work so hard at the gym.

What works for me is to eat lots of protein and very little carbs. It seems like when I eat carbs I get hungrier more often and crave more 'sugary' stuff. It was hard for me at first to get used to this (especially since wine is a carb!) but it really does curb your appetite! Good luck!

just eat good stuff its that simple if you cant stop eating once you stop just eat good food or:
exersize 30 minuets a day
drink only water
eat only 1 or 2 snack foods and if you are still hungry eat fruits or vegtables (supposed to have 5 a day)
listening to music makes exersize easier.
REWARD YOURSELF: with something other than food like a cd. thats what i always reward myself with.

I have that problem, too. I also have depession. You may need therapy. You can also try to get out of the house and when you feel like eating, force yourself to do something else...like go for a walk, etc.

There's suppose to be a thing called carbohydrate addiction. Eating bread, waffles, doughnuts, cookies, etc. seems to make you want to keep on eating without feeling satisfied.
