You know, I've often wondered the same thing. Whenever I visit back east I have a Dunkin' Donuts binge because on the west coast they are non-existant. I wish they'd expand out into Cali, Krispy Kream is so tired and crappy in comparison to Dunkin' Donuts.

That is really weird. I've never been on the west coast so I've learned something new. It can't be because of a healthy lifestyle because look how they live. If it weren't the whole coast, I'd say it would have to do with some local zoning. On the other hand, we're just now getting Krispy Kreme in west central Michigan. (Yuck)

That chain tried to work their way into Seattle a few years back. Awful coffee and lame donuts couldn't beat out Starbucks and biscoti's.

thats is totally untrue, ive lived in the LA area for years and I always saw them; I'm in AZ right now with friends (Tempe) and there's one 3 blocks away from me- where do you guys get this wrong info???
