EXCELLENT IDEA, WHEN CAN WE START?
I'm sick and tired of seeing arab countries stockpiling American dollar bills and watching the maffia get rich. We need a government controlled, id system that treats everyone as nothing more than a number so there is no discrimination.

I DO hope you are kidding about wanting to turn the US into a police state!!!!
First, there is no such thing as a "tamper proof" RFID card. Second, only the honest citizens would have the new cards. The illegal aliens, criminals, terrorists, etc. would ignore the law or have counterfeit cards. What you are advocating would not keep illegal aliens from working. It would just drive more and more people into the non-taxpaying underground economy. You know that old saying the gun enthusiasts have, "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws would have guns." Well, that same thing would happen with the new National ID's you are advocating. You are a victim of the brain washers who want to take away your freedom. What you are advocating would be a boon to identity thieves, stalkers, and foreign agents. Did you know that what you are advocating is already a law and that the US government is going to share this personal information about you with airlines, retailers such as liquor stores, pawnshops, etc. and with foreign governments?(your social security number, date of birth, address, physical description, etc.) The Real ID Act was passed in 2005 and the states must comply by 2008. The new law is unfunded, so the states must bear the cost of implementing it. What ever happened to states rights?
I see from your other questions that you also advocate putting hamsters in microwave ovens to see if they explode, using acid to strip the flesh from gerbils, and finding a way to creat black holes. I also see that you have at least one alter ego (dslcobra). So I assume you are in junior high. THINK before you talk! Do some reading on the subject. Below is a good place to start. Your library probably has the book.
PS. The way to stop the new law is to write your state legislators and encourage them to defy the new law and refuse to comply. That will make the driver's licenses issued by those states invalid for getting into federal buildings, such as federal court houses and army recruiting offices. I am sure they will want to change the law when they find out that citizens of several states can't enlist in the military. Not to mention the lawsuits they will have to defend when convicted criminals sue for civil rights violations when they claim that their witnesses couldn't get into the court house. Whether or not they actually had any defense witnesses, they will still sue (and appeal and get their convictions overturned.)
Read the book below, grow up, and wait a few years before you ask any more questions.

Check out RFID article on CNN where the german firm hacked RFID big time . As far as a national registry I am not sure alot of people would go for it but it has alot of pluses . Can you imagine a Dr. in an ER waving a scan over you to get your copmplete medical history and meds in a nanno second . Yes it might also help cut down illegal;s and would make passports hard to counterfeit - maybe . If anything we are moving away from a cash economy to a paperless economy so that made no sense and if we only had paper can you imagine all the people getting paid under the table and the counterfeiters and well the list is endless with all cash .

No way!
Anyone with the proper equipment, and it isn't that difficult to get or make, could read the RFID chips. OK, if they're encrypted well enough, it would slow a bad guy down, but it would not stop anyone who knew what they were doing. RFID seems like a stalker's new best friend to me. And the more info they cram onto the chip the more the stalker can learn about you. The United States has always been a free nation. What are the first things a country does when they are afraid of the populace? Take away private citizens' firearms and issue ID's or "traveling papers" or some such, to make it easier to know where a person is at all times.
No sir! I like my U.S. Constitution just the way it is with my right to free speech, my right to worship where I please, my right to own a firearm, my right to privacy, my right to not have my property searched or seized, etc. RFID is one more way to remove that privacy that is our constitutional right.
RFID has some practical applications, but keep it outta my wallet!

If this application were to exist, it would only be the law abiding people who will be subject to the inconveniences and penalties associated with it. Everyone else would either find a way to remove unwanted information or they would find a way to create their own smart card. Even if govt officials are the only ones with access to the technology, there are criminals in the govt too!

Thats great you think that way. But to be honest. The only way I will ever carry a card like that, or ever get away from straight up cash, is when they bury me with one.
I really hope this is a sarcastic question aimed to educate people, if not, I am really worried for America.

this is the United States, do you really think thaey haven't already done it? they're already in use! It's just a matter of making them mandatory in order to buy sell or trade, ie Mark of the Beast, the question is is your faith in God strong enough to be the person who does that?
