Most of the state child welfare agencies are overworked and the one im most familiar with tries to not take kids away or place them with the other parent or a grandparent. Ask yourself this. Do you send your children to school everyday? Do you keep your home clean? Do you have a job or if you receive welfare do you use the money properly? Do you use your money to buy drugs, cigarettes, or alcohol? Are your children home and in bed at a time that is appropriate for their ages? Depending on how you can answer these and other similar questions will determine if the state was justified. The best thing you could do for yourself and your children is not to blame the state but look at yourself in the mirror and try to see if you need to change for the better in some way?

DFCS can not get rid of a newborn from the residing house till there is concrete rationalization for them to have faith that newborn has been abused or neglected in some way. and that they paintings with the family greater advantageous than is had to reunite them as quickly as is achieveable. It certainly expenses the government money to have those infants in foster care, so the time-honored motivation might desire to be the welfare of the newborn.

Do you live in Utah? There have been quite a few instances of DCFS jumping the gun. One was when that boy had cancer and his parents wanted to try alternative therapies. You should contact an attorney.

I live in Tx., and no, I never had the state court mandate their removal from my home. However, in my field of work, I have observed removal of children from their parents custody, usually due to drug/alcohol problems. In this state, the courts really try to assist the parents to have their children returned,PROVIDED the parent(s) shows an effort to be a productive member of society.
This usually consists of gainful employment, clean time, a decent place for them to live in and some stability. I do not think the state just came in, and "stole" your children. Be honest with yourself and find the real reason the state removed them from your home--and good luck

I used to work with parents of children that were "stolen" by DHS or DCFS as it is called in some states.
They were "stolen" usually because of some type of abuse, neglect or drug charges.
So your point is..........

they don't get "stolen." If they took your kids away, they had reasons. If you don't think there are any good ones, ask them.
