"Stupid & idiot on the name of religion"

And please give also your reason why the phrases above are wrong grammatically. Because I would use your remark for someone else.

I think the phrase should be "You are a stupid idiot in the name of religion!" Nothing can be done 'on the name of' anything, but it's done 'in the name of' whatever it is. They're trying to say that your religion says you have to behave like a stupid idiot, and you do it blindly because your 'good book' tells you to.

That phrase could be used against G W Bush himself quite accurately, but if someone says it to you and you want to snap something back it's not really worth the effort - can't you just ignore them? If you HAVE to reply, try "If you MUST attempt to insult me, please do it in a language that you can understand. IF you are capable of understanding ANYTHING!"

It may LOOK as though there are no insulting words in that sentence, but IF he/she can understand it they WILL be insulted - trust me! (I'm English!!)

That phrase makes absolutely no sense at all. Not even Pres. Bush could understand it.
