Having a girlfriend sounds cool to a guy who is 14 coz they reach puberty(hormonal fluctuations) at this stage and the hormones along with your peer pressure drive you to get into such relationships. I don't mean that having a girlfriend is bad but is it really a necessity of life??? Does is it mean that you are nothing if you are alone all on your own??? It sometimes gets tough if you are in the minority as there not many people in this age who do not have girlfriends and boyfriends. But such relationship are immature when you will age one day you will also feel that such things are so trivial that you shouldn't have bothered with it. It is the same thing which I also feel today.

well you have nice guy syndrome. with out friction there is no passionate fire your a wet noodle dude. here is the plan for the next three years of your life...ready
get into a sport or become a gym rat
then when you turn 17 you wont have to worry about having a girlfriend you will be able to pick and choose. you basically turn off that part of you for a few years and create a new you for a new tomorrow.

Most of these answers are pretty good - I hope you listen . The one thing they needed to push you towards is , other kinds of activities like art , home econmics , basketball , soccer , baseball , be a big brother - for Big Brothers of America , be a volunteer at a nursing home , go riding bikes , play in the park (girls go to all of these things) and I am sure you can think of more places on your own . But stop trying so hard , it will pay off in the end .

At only 14 I wouldnt worry about not being able to get a girlfriend... You have plenty of time and perhaps you just havent met the right girl.

I know you've had a heap of answers that say just wait and love will come, but baby they're right, don't stress on finding a girl, just be happy, enjoy life and all that it deals you. There's plenty of time for girls and the rest later on, just cruise along darling and when you do meet a girl she'll like you all the more for being stress free! Don't fret sweetie there's plenty out there waiting for you!

How many have you asked? If it's a lot, word will have got round that anyone will do.
Try making friends who are girls - you can move on to girlfriends later. 14 is awfully early to be desperate.
PS. One thing girls really hate (and it's suprising how many guys don't know this) is dirty, scruffy guys. Clean hair, clothes and teeth go a long way. Casual is fine - just not dirty casual.

You're young, and it sounds like you are eager. Perhaps you are trying too hard. I don't know what your situation is, but it sounds like you'll take about any girl for a girlfriend. I apologize if I'm wrong. Be patient. If you like a girl, get to know her. There's nothing wrong with being friends first.

You're still young. Enjoy your youth, boy.
Meanwhile, search within yourself if there's anything you need to work on / improve on which turn people off. You've to be nice to attract nice people. Don't shut yourself in your own world. Go out, make friends, socialize & have (healthy) fun. More friends mean more choices, more choices mean more chances.

You're 14, calm down. My sister has a good rule for dating: you shouldn't do it until you have a job so you can pay for things and a car so you can drive her places. Otherwise, where are you going to go? Dairy Queen on your bikes?
