Am I wrong or do most Asian men prefer Asian women over white women? Why?

That seems to be what I see around Maryland. I tend to be attracted to some Asians, but they look at me like I'm a purple-people eater or something. Yet, I seem to be attractive to my own race and African-American, etc. Is it because they prefer super skinny girls and I am more curvy? I guess this goes out to the ASIANS.

Your observations are very true.

My personal views, as a Chinese man, are that the physical qualities that we looked out for in a girlfriend or wife is quite different from the what is portrayed in most western media.

A 6 ft tall amazon on high heels would terrify instead of excite most asian men (and their family). A woman who speaks loudly in public or gives her opinion freely (even if they are well- thought out) would be shunned instead of being admired.

Finally, East Asian women tend to maintain their complexion and weight better than White women. I don't know whether it is due to genetics or lifestyle.

That is true because most Asian men really can't do anything for themselves. And because they cannot do anything for themselves, they would want a woman that can. Asian men have this idea that any other race of women would not be able to look after them as well. They certainly couldn't handle a woman with opinions and a mind of of her own. Unfortunately, the Asian woman perpetuates this. I have seen so many Asian mothers let their boys do whatever they want and are very strict with their girls. Mothers wait on their sons hand and foot and the girls do the house work and cook. In most Asian countries, even in this day and age, women are still considered "2nd class" citizens. Women, again, perpetuating this have child after child until a son is born. I have heard daughters being called "garbage" children. So unless you've met a really enlightened Asian dude, I'd suggest staying away from them. I'm Asian and I have a partner that does not expect me to cook, pays for maid service and values my opinion, and he is not Asian!

I know several asians and they tend to stick to their own kind if you know what I mean. This is especially true of first or second generation asians, not so much so for ones that have been here a while and assimilated. If you ask me, asians can sometimes be quite racist.

asians in turn tend to be a closed community and like asians to date within themselves as the intercultural adaptation phase is virtually non existent in such a relation and chances of marrying someone outside the social block is non existent
