How come in Sophomore year in highschool, everybody becomes more attractive?

You lose all that baby fat and all that ugly stuff that made you look like a nerdy little kid...sophmore year u became a hot stud or a hot girl....it pretty much is amazing. just aging

I think it is because Freshmen all try so hard to look cool that they over do it and come out looking like teeny boppers instead of High School students. By the Sophmore year everyone has mellowed out and and tends to look much more natural.

Because by then, people tend to try to "fit in" so of course girls are gonna wear less clothing, do their hair just right, wear makeup. Guys on the other hand...beef up or comb their hair I guess. It's kinda hard for me to answer...considering I went to an all girls highschool lol.

Your starting to lower your standards. It's ok. By the time your 40, you'll be sleeping with anybody that's got a heartbeat. It's the natural progression of life!

Freshman are mostly little twerps. By sophomore year, students are maturing physically.

three guesses. 1. puberty. 2. all the rich, spoiled, self-conscious, thin-skinned, superficial freshmen that were picked on because they were different got plastic surgery. 3. you've lowered your standards and you're really horny.

the littles girls "grow up". Puberty + hormones at work. They become attractive, and you become more aware of it.
