The answer is in your question. You use your habit, whether it's marijuana, cigarettes, alchohol, crack, valium, etc....... in order to fill a hole in yourself. I used to smoke cigarettes, chain smoking horribly and I tried many times to quit but just couldn't do it because stopping the habit felt like ripping myself away from an old trusted friend. The addiction wasn't just physical but psychological as well and the mind is far more powerful than the body.

My doctor explained to me why drugs like Zyban work so well with some people in order to help them quit smoking. It's because the Zyban addresses a chemical imbalance or emotional imbalance that exists in a person. Smoking is what that person uses in order to address that imbalance within themselves. For those that don't know what Zyban really is, it is Wellbutrin, an anti-anxiety / anti-depression drug. (zyban doesn't work with my body chemistry so I couldn't use it).

The events that led up to my quitting smoking cold turkey and for good was my health. Long story, short: I knew it was the smoking causing heart and lung problems and I feared loosing my life enough to not even second guessing my choice of instantly quitting that bad habit. It wasn't easy but I had the proper motivation to succeed. Now, when I get the urge, because I still do crave it sometimes, I feed the urge with something else, food, the thought of food, drinking something, getting up and walking around the house, anything. It's automatic now.

One of the most important things you must remember is that you cannot lie to yourself. Justification is lieing. I didn't use patches or other drugs to help me quit smoking because by using them, I never truthfully stop my habit. Cease all of it and never look back. Never look back. By not addressing your problems full on and in your face, you lie to yourself and that's the worse thing anyone can ever do to themselves.

Good question! I find that one needs to change one's habit of friends and surroundings. I can live with pain; the emotion part is the hardest part of existence. I also have found it helpful to remember that I, solely I, am in charge of my decisions. Find a material thing you never thought you could afford, take the grass money and hide it, then keep focused the best you can.
You'll find yourself slowly getting control if you focus on that ideal. Sooner or later you'll be living that ideal.
I'll pray for you.

No, the shake weight does no longer paintings. The quantity of motion for your higher arm is just too small to burn a large quantity of fats or construct muscle mass. If you're feminine I might shows low weight x prime frequency bicep curls. If you're male and watching to bulk up I might propose prime weight x cut back frequency (6-eight reps), three units. Either method, consume a managed vitamin as good to hold the fats off and your muscle mass toned. The shake weight will handiest make your arm FEEL worn out with none outcome. You anticipate outcome to return on the grounds that you are so worn out by way of the motion is just too confined for whatever severe to occur.

Find out what triggers you to use marijuana. Try to eliminate those impulses. If that doesn't work, got to a psychologist or a professional mental health therapist and try to figure out a therapy or maybe medicine to control your urges. It works, that's how I quit drinking.
