I think all dogs dream. My shih tzu harley barks in his sleep and his little legs kick around like he's being chased. My rotti, she just snores and farts in her sleep. It gets so bad, I have to get up sometimes and leave the room!

Every dog I have ever had, dreams. They are so cute when they do! My Shepherd makes noises like a puppy, and sometimes even barks a little, and kicks his feet like hes trying to run! Their eyes move all around, and sometimes his ears twitch. You really wonder what they are dreaming about!

each dogs i've got ever had does it. they're dreaming. i've got observed that they now and back have energetic desires whilst they have had one extra-exciting day. those little woofs, growls, legs and physique twitching, tail wagging, and that i think of one dogs even howled in his sleep as quickly as. I have been given a dogs from a glance after a on a similar time as in the past, and that i do no longer think of he dreamed till he'd been here for a pair of months, probably as a results of fact he did no longer fairly loosen up in his new homestead till then.

Yes. My cockapoo does it almost every night. She barks, whines, and even basically runs in her sleep. It scared me the first time she was dreaming because I thought she was hurt. But now I am used to it...so no worries all dogs do this I think.

my dog doesn't bark, but she does twich a lot when she's dreaming...I don't think the barking is abnormal...I mean some people talk in their sleep so why can't dogs bark in their sleep?

Yes, both of my dogs do this. They each have small barks and their legs (and sometimes their whole body) twitches. It's very normal... I don't know anything scientific about it. We just say they're dreaming!

I think all dogs dream. I have seen many including my own, do the same thing while they sleep. My dog would twitch her little paws like she was running and whimper. Sometimes she looked as if she was eating because she'd be chewing away and smacking her chops. Once while she was "running" I called her name softly and she began to whimper like mad!

yeah i think all dogs, cats and all animals. Dream. What makes you think it isn't normal. And yeah my dogs do, do that. It is a bit funny. Sometimes she hiccups or does something that sounds like she is choking which i find extremely scary. Because everytime she does that i have to wake her up to make sure she is still alive.

I have a pitbull and I have to keep waking her up because she is running in her sleep and twitching sometimes barking and crying. I feel sorry for her so I wake her as she must be having nightmares.
