The odds of dying in a plane crash are about one in ten million. In a train about one in a million. In a car about 1 in 14,000. I have looked up the odds of being taken hostage by terrorists and can only find (repeatedly) that it is extremely remote. Does anyone know where to find the stated odds of being taken hostage?

In Bagdhad: 1 in 823

In Dallas, Texas: 1 in 3 (If you cheer for the wrong football team)
