You get buried or cremated

In modern America the corpse is usually embalmed and buried though some opt for cremation. If you are important enough there will be memorials & platittudes and a big fneral. People may continue to keep you alive by mentioning your name. In fact if you are like James Dean or Marilynn Monroe your fame might increase after death. Some might see the soul of your/their existence as an engery that is exstinguished at the point of death, some may believe this energy will draw new breath in a new born body thus beginning the cycle anew. More than a few simply view this energy as snuffed out, dead. Others fantasize about a place called Heaven where everything is peachy keen & wonderful for them and those that support their viewpoint and a place called Hell for everyone else. That is what is known as Christian compassion & understanding.

i believe and i have thought about this, I Have about 3 or 4 thoeries to this, that if we die there we be straight blackness matter in fact there would be know straight blackness if we were nonexistent had no spontanoues thoughts. ANother theory of mine is that we will be born into a different life to make up or prove to God that we are ready to meet because he is unsure. My third Theory is that either you will go to heaven or Hell oh by the way i strong believe that hell is empty all the devils are here on earth.

All I know is that when you die, you feel as if you're going to sleep. You lose all feeling and become completely relaxed. You feel as if you are floating on air. As far as what happens after you die, I feel that what ever you believe will happen, happens. Your soul has the power to do many things. If you believe God will chose your destination, that is what will happen. If you feel you will become reincarnated, that will happen. If you want your soul to trudge on and not rest, (in other words become a ghost) so be it!

I recently saw a movie about an African man who was a minister of a church who was embalmed and pronounced dead. He said that when he died, (he subsequently came back), he was lead around and saw people in what he thinks was singing and happy and he saw what he thought was Hell where people were crying and moaning and they were in constant agony. He didn't know he had had a family or anyone in the world he had left. He was told he would be taken to one of the two places. He was then revived and lived. It was a powerful story. I don't know if it is true, but he certainly did believe it and said he has lived his life on a righteous path ever since.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.

Why do people have such a hard time thinking about this? If there was nothingness before we were born, what is so bad about nothingness after we die, is that so terrible?

After we die we go to heaven or hell depending on our choice about Jesus. If you have received Jesus as your Savior and have become a born again christian then you go to heaven to live forever.
Everybody else who has not received Jesus and has not become born again is thrown into the lake of fire(hell) where they will burn forever.

We step out of our body and join the spirit world. God and everyone in every life we have ever lived. Don't be afraid, God is pure love and you will be home again. You can come and visit and help out your loved ones here as well. I sense the dead people in my life all the time.
