Find the Mormon Church's website. They have an extensive geneological data base that's available to the public.

go to www.lds.org and click on the family history link. It is the LDS (mormon) church's website and they have extensive records and tips.

mormon (churces i thik) keep records and let you use free info, and some libaries have subscriptions to ancestry.com and stuff, so you don;t have to pay.

Ancestry.com is NOT free........The only truly free site I've found is Genforum...........Good Luck, hun..........
