I would start by going to one and visiting
There are many ways to have a bible study. You can follow a curriculum. Or pick a book and work your way through it. Ask the people what they would like.
I have lead many bible studies and Sunday schools. I always like to have a scripture to remember. We also learned a Greek word translated into English. Like word: logos
I also like to find a verse from a song, and find the coordinating scripture that goes with it.
such as "As the deer panteth for the water" psalms 41:1
Just remember to start and end in prayer.
be blessed, in Jesus.

First thing you need to do is attend a bible study yourself in a good bible based church.

The best part about bible study is if you don't understand something you have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the lesson.

How do you know you have been called to teach bible study. I do hope you are already deeply involved with a church.

Activity ideas: Skits, plays (which can be presented after church) Bible drills, videos etc

It is great when God calls you to serve like that. It is very important though that you pray about it, and maybe ask somebody who has been leading Bible studies before. I would suggest you to go to the Christian book store and buy one leader's kit ..I think that Beth Moore has great Bible studies. Do you go to the church? My church provides the leadership material if somebody wants to lead a small group. Ask if your church do the same. If you go to the church. let them notify that you want to start up a small group studying for example Jesus, the one and only. If you do not go to the church, ask couple of your friends attend, and they can invite couple of people. You only need around four to start.
At my Bible studies in the beginning everybody introduces them self, and tell a little bit what is going on their life. Then we look a short video chapter of the study, and then we answer questions from the study manual. It is very relaxed. Then we take prayer requests, and then we pray. Sometimes only one prays out loud, sometimes it goes in the circle an everybody can say a prayer if they want to.

Well, My friend came to me one day and said she wanted to do a bible study. So, we used her bible (and it started out as three people doing the bible study) in the back of it it had study catogories so we picked one ( it happened to be women of the bible) and did one women ever week. Soon we asked 2 more people to join and they did!! unfortunatly we had to stop because of the end of the school year however we fully intend and are going to resume when school starts back. Just start with people youknow and word of mouth will work. Oh and get a bible that has topics of study in the back and refrences that is a good place to start

You talk about stories from the bible like when god killed all the firstborn in Egypt so there was an outcry like never before. Or you can talk about how god swallowed 250 people up in the ground when Korah was rebellious to Moses. Or maybe how a bear killed 20-some children who teased Elijah. Or some other uplifting story.

God has called you to lead a Bible Study? Why don't you ask Him?

You can't do a proper Bible study without a copy of the original texts. Get those first, and then let's talk.

You can "assume" some thing you desire however that does not make it real. I can assume I have fluffy red fur and wings, but when I step out of the third flooring window and check out to fly, I'll uncover out I can not in a moment. God owes us not anything. He has given us the whole lot we now have and are: lifestyles, a frame, a planet to survive...and, btw, the probability of figuring out Him for my part via Jesus Christ. We do our first-rate due to the fact that we prefer to, now not for any eventual "present." If you are doing stuff for applause, present, or awareness, that is now not altruistic. It's horse-buying and selling.

Well, first of all, if you don't mind me asking, what's your religion? Do you think that you have sufficient knowledge to lead a Bible study?
