Someone answered a question stating they were a born again agnostic. I thought being an agnostic meant you weren't sure about God? How can you be born again but not sure?

Well I am glad that I am not the only one that thought that sounded strange.
I have calm assurance that I am born again.In Christ.

Those are two opposed terms.
I think the agnostic was using sarcasm...
If you are born again in Christ, you know it. You experience a changed heart and deep joy. Your perspective on life takes a paradigm shift as well. All things become new, meaning and understanding of life are intrinsically felt, and there is contentment.

i'm an atheist and my brother is a Catholic missionary...i will see him going into seminary some day. as quickly as we social gathering we don't communicate approximately faith. needless to say we get into discussions approximately social subject concerns which contain abortion and gay rights regardless of if it never escalates to the factor the place it hurts our dating with one yet another. we are waiting to try this by ability of not taking offense to something the different says and probably taking into consideration what the different says. no person can choose a man or woman's faith. tell her that and that if God ability so you could be an ardent believer that he will instruct you the way...or some thing alongside those strains. or you ought to apply the bible...instruct her Matthew 5:22-"yet whosoever shall say 'Thou fool' would be in danger of hell hearth." different than that i don't possibly understand what to declare for you...you ought to continually stop chatting along with her yet this could be slightly harsh. wish you hit upon some thing that can assist you you out.

A born again agnostic is someone who - after being born - crawled back into his mother's womb and had to be born again.
Plus, he's agnostic.

I guess it means they were agnostic and began to believe in a god & something happened and now they're a "born-again agnostic".......makes sense to me.
