Wiccans believe in the Goddess as well as the God. In all there is male and female in balance. Wiccans celebrate 8 sabbats per year. Winter Solstice, Summer Solstice, Vernal Equinox, Spring Equinox are the 4 main ones. Then there's Sam Hain, Feb 2, Aug 2, and September 23. Wiccans believe in communing with nature. In Karma, and in rebirth.
There is too much to put into one paragraph. Do a google search! Learn for yourself. Don't listen to others who only know parts. I could say that other religions were strange for what they believe as well.. but I like to live in harmony.
An' it harm none, do as ye will. In other words, do what you want as long as you harm nothing.
Brightest Blessings in your search!

Yes. Wicca was made up in the mid 20th centruy by a guy who read some occult books, a little Joseph Campbell, and studied Aleister Crowley (the sex magician and proto-Satanist) and decided to make up his own religion. His main goals were to have orgiastic fertility rites with nubile, gullible hippie women. Wicca is little more than a hodgepodge of various traditions and beliefs ripped out of their contexts (straight from the pages of Frazer's Golden Bough) and thrown together in a sloppy, mismanaged fashion like some sort of pagan Frankenstein. Are you familiar with the saying "Jack of all trades, master of none"?
In conclusion, Wicca lacks depth, substance and elaboration, remaining just a plaything for those who do not or can not delve into serious religious or philosophical study.

Wicca can be explained simply as the worship of nature. Some Wiccans will gather in groups and perform ceremonies during certain natural events, and others cast spells and use "magic" to enhance their lives. A melting pot of other pagan religions, it is pretty much up to you how much you follow and buy into Wicca.

it's basically christianity with t!ts, esp with how the rede is weilded the same way hell is by christians. likewise, there are also lots of good, well meaning ppl who identify as wiccans. as with any religion, there are adherents with varying levels of wisdom. learn to distinguish them.
whatever you do, lean the difference in witchcraft and wicca. they are not the same. learn about the left hand path, too.
and know WHY you believe whatever it is you believe or want to believe.
