Who likes a great thunderstorm and a huge downpour? Or are you afraid of the "Boom"?

I love it when it rains, I love thunder that shakes the house. Not very many people do. My mom always calls "Are you okay? Did you hear that thunder?"
I always want to call her and scream, "did it scare you"?
Maybe I'm being messed up but why not enjoy nature instead of being afraid of it? Boo.

Do you remember as a kid playing in the rain and never worrying about the lightening? After the storm you would find the biggest puddle and play in it? Now everyine says "Don't go outside."

Do you believe that if you count between the thunder and lightening you can tell if the storm is going to get worse or die down?

I love a good rain storm my self. And the thunder when it is BOOM BOOM and it sounds like it is rolling. Oh yes, I love to listen to it. I really like sleeping with it raining!!! I have been known to go out and walk in the rain and I am 49 at that, but oh well, I just let the kid in me come out and enjoy the rain. Oh I don't go out in the rain if it is a bad storm, lightning every where as that is just a bit to dangerous.

I love thunderstorms, the lightening, the boom. yea, it's pretty cool. I like to hear the rain on the roof top. I don't care much for real heavy downpours, only because some ppl have to travel in it and it can cause accidents. I've always been told that u can count between the booms and tell if the storm is getting closer or going away from u. yea, thunderstorms are cool.

yet that is pretty cool and I also like to run out for a few seconds under the rain and quickly go back in---the rain is pretty cold but remember that when the thunder gets louder you need to stay in home because the lighting is soon headed you way; play it safe but do enjoy the massive sounds of nature.. and no you do not have to yell "did it scare you" she is the mom and that is what moms do protect their children and say "yea it sounds nice" this will help her see that you are not scared of thunder

I love thunder storms, they are so romantic to sit and listen to with my boyfriend. We can lay there for hours and just listen to the tin roof when the rain hits it. It is so relaxing too. Sometimes, when I am mad, I pray to god that it rains so that I can be relaxed and just clear my head. The only time that I am really afraid of thunderstorms is at night. I hate trying to go to sleep when it is lighting outside. I just can't sleep.

My husband & I love thunderstorms, and the bigger the better. Yes, the thunder can scare me a little because it can be so loud & unexpected, but it doesn't scare me in a bad way, I guess it just startles me. My mother was always taught to be afraid of storms, so when she had me, she didn't want me to be afraid. She put me in front of our sliding glass window and let me watch the lightning. I've always love it!

I just do not want to go outside on a thunder storm.

However, I do not mind sing in the rain though.

I absolutely love it, it's one of my favorite things. I like to stand outside and feel the breeze and the air before the storm, then I love to watch the storm come down (usually I go inside, though).

I absolutely love a great storm. In Louisiana we get the best tropical downpours that are just fantastic (when they don't turn into hurricanes)

I like thunderstorms and rain. I think it is so cool. I don't know why I ike it, but I just like the feeling it gives you when you hear or smell the wet dirt.

I love thunderstorms and big rains!!! They don't scare me at all. I'm always amazed at the enormousy and the beauty of it.
