he's a type of guy who will just ignore it....and i know he loves me more than anything...and he's like 7-8 years older than me. im not ready for a serious relationship yet...i want to see what's out there... so its not easy... i love him but more as a friend...omg i really dont know what to do... very confused... help .......and dont be ignorant plz...i dont need that bull!!! thank you in advance!!!

I think the best way is to talk to him. I know it's hard to talk to someone who is stubborn but that is the only way. If he really loves you then he should understand your decision. Perhaps over a dinner or lunch, so that it is not abrupt in any way. If he loves you , he will understand your decision. It is a hard thing to do but I think you will feel better once you talk with him.

The message becomes so diluted that the person we are telling it to does not know what we mean. In other words, you need to tell him you're not interested -- simply and straight out. If he pushes and asks why, try to keep your answer short and simple. Something like, "I simply choose not to" may do the trick. If not, you may want to explain that you don't picture the two of you having a future or simply say that the relationship just doesn't feel right.

The best way to let any guy know that he's not your only love interest is to show up at his birthday party with another lover. He'll get the picture then baby.

You have to let him know you are serious no smile on face straight eye contact with a firm voice. You have to do it because you are not happy and the longer it take you to do this the more miserable and irritated you will be ..so stop wasting his time and yours and do it !!!

anyway you do it, the effect is the same...
but to answer your question... you can start by saying "i quit" or "i'm sorry but i don't want to be your girlfriend anymore", then naturally, the first thing he'll ask you is "why?" (with a distorted and confused face, of course), then thats the time you explain..
if he does not ask you why?, then he's being selfish and he does'nt deserve to be treated nicely...g'luck!

Just sit him down and be honest with him. Tell him you care about him but not in the way you need to when you're dating. Don't mention wanting to date others, he might get mad. Just be honest and don't take NO for an answer, it is your life and you can do as you please.
