I've been slacking this summer, too. During the year, my 7 month old goes to bed at 8:00 and my 11 year old goes to bed at 9-9:30. This summer, my 7 month old is still going to bed at 8, but the 11 year old has been staying up to 10 or 10:30. Thanks for the reminder to start getting him back to bed at a better time-school is just around the corner!

School time I put my 6 and 8 year olds to bed at 8 but they get an hour of tv. At 9 the tv goes off. My 20 month old stays up until he falls asleep. He co sleeps so he goes to bed when I do unless he passes out before.

On a school night she gets her night time snack at about 8 and she is in bed at 9.She is 7 and loves to read so she will often decide to go to bed at about 8:30.On weekends and during the summer there ain't really a set bedtime I just go by her actions when I see she starting to get real tired I just tell her alright babygirl it's getting pretty late let's get in bed. It's rare if she gives me any problems with that.

I have a 2 1/2 year old son....he doesnt go to school yet, but I go to college during the school year, so he goes to bed around 8-8:30 pm...but during the summer, I'm usually pretty bad about sticking to his bedtime....he usually doesnt hit the hay until around 10-10:30! I know, its bad....but neither of us have to wake up early in the morning so we both get to sleep in....

but during the school year I am pretty strict about getting him to bed by 8-8:30!

I think in the summer it is ok. The summer is suppose to be fun to do all the stuff U can't do during the school year. It depends on the kid. younger ones need to be in bed early. It is ok mom we all slack in the summer

We've been back to school for about 2 weeks now so I've been trying to get them to bed by 8:00. It's difficult since it's still broad daylight here until past 9:00!

Between 8 and 9. If we are watching movies I let him stay up longer but since school is right around the corner we are back on schedule.
