Correctional Custody Unit (military)?

Question

If you are awarded 30 days CCU, what type of things can you expect to do while you are serving your sentence?
Have you found that it has been a positive experience for the people that have gone? Better attitude, wake up call for them?

This is not a good sign. Someone really screwed up. They mow lawns, ask permission for every thing, etc. Expect lots of push-ups.

It's be like continuous Basic Training. For some, it will help their attitude. It's like getting a second chance instead of just being chaptered out of the military.

CCU was in the Navy, It was like being in boot camp again, up at 400am to P.T., shower , then chow, then work all day. They gave it to you the first day, screaming and mashing you. It wasn't really bad but it was more for people that were hard cases, I was sent there in the 80's for a drug problem. It really was not set up for that kind of problem, more for just *** holes that didn't want to do anything or as we called them shitheads.

X-Navy here....Im guessing CCU is like what we call "the brig"...it doesn't usually help. If you're screwing up in the military after being through all the training you're given....you're in big trouble...I was afraid to death to do anything wrong while I was in....

You can expect to be physically and mentally challenged every min of every day.
It depends on the individual if they turn theirselves around afterward. Some do, some do not.
