yeah... I'm tired but it's hot and plus this answer thing is so damn addictive... and I wanted to go to Uni in the morning (resit coursework)... looks like I'll have to pass it up... actually I'm holding out for the Michael Shanks Outer Limits on Sci-Fi channel... oh, if I wasn't such a sucker for him, the heat and this website, I could be dreaming.

I moved to Spain last year and night time temperatures in Summer are often 35 degrees. It is a great help to have a fan running by the bed all night and I keep a jar ofvery cold water in the bedroom to counteract warm dry air. Ultimate answer is to save up for an air conditioner unit. (Also catch up on lost sleep by having a siesta!)

Do as I did last year - invest in the purchase of a piece of electrical equipment called an air cooler - fill it up with cold water and/or ice-cubes - switch on and wait a short while - this will cool you down nicely

i often have problems sleeping, whether its humid or not.
we had a down-pour of rain earlier, which has freshened the air.
if you're 2 warm, put a cold (small )towel around the back of your neck. this cools the blood rushing to your head.

I can't believe I'm going to say this and think I might need a slap - but I'll be so pleased when it's autumn and heading into winter!

Yep...it's far too humid for my liking...I'm lying down and I'm sweating like crazy.

So I'm sitting next to my big fan now.
