i'm 15 and so is he. so whenever i'm in history class, he keeps on asking me how the tests went for me.. but then when we get them back he brags that he got A's. And then on the street, he randomly called out my name, when I never gave it to him and his friends don't know me. What does he want from me? if he likes me, then why does he keep on bragging?? it's so annoying.. maybe i'm just jumping to conclusions.. maybe he doesn't like me? what does it seem like?
one more thing.. he's in the history class after mine.. so he couldn't have known my name from class.
my friend says he's not shy at all.. so if he liked me.. wouldn't he have already asked me out? what does he want.. if he's so un-shy, then why didn't he talk to me yet?? and now i can't stop thinking about him.. jeez i'm really confused.

His evil plan has worked. You can't stop thinking about him. Boys are dumb. He's trying to impress you with his bragging. He made it a point to find out your name even though you're not in the same class. He likes you. Not being shy in general doesn't mean he's not shy about girls. If you think you might like him, you talk to him. It will throw him off guard.

He doesn't know how to ask you out. The fact that he asks you about your test scores shows he is interested in you and is trying to make conversation. Also, he went out of his way to learn your name. Good sign. If he didn't like you he wouldn't have talked to you at all. Guys often get tongue-tied and sound 'a little weird' when they talk to someone they like. Then they kick themselves later for not being cooler under pressure.
Also, men brag. Its part of their puffing themselves up to look good to the opposite sex...standard animal behavior ie. it's what guys do to get noticed. An example would be the peacock. He flashes his colors to attract the peahens. If you like him, talk to him. It sounds like he'll be thrilled!

Sounds like he's trying to find ways to talk to you even if it's about a test. Guys that age sometimes don't even understand what they are feeling...

Sweetheart, one of the things boys AND MEN do to get a woman's attention is be annoying. (he likes you) The meanest thing you can possibly do to him i(and I suggest you do it!) is NOT give him the attention he wants so badly. Unfortunately, boys never grow out of this foolishness; so you will have to ignore them even after they "grow up."

He's just bragging because he wants to show off his good grades to you so you think he's really smart...he probly asked one of your friends what your name is and told them not to tell you...ask some of your friends and see wat they say.
And maybe he is shy around girls he likes cause they might not like them back you never kno take a chance and ask him your self and see wat he says.
