can i still report him to the cops? it was at a movie theater only YESTERDAY. i went with friends and got up to go to the bathroom. i went in the girls bathroom and there was this guy (about 16) following me and before i went in i turned around and i was like "uhh... girls bathroom." and he smiled and PUSHES me in there and gets all over me. i'm only 14. he was trying to take my shirt off and i was punching him and then i kicked him in the groin, which gave me time to get away and tell someone and i did but he was gone, so they didn't do anything

i feel violated and empty and scared
is there any way if i told the police they could help me?

You REALLY need to report him. Even if you didn't know him you can tell the cops what he looked like, and the area where it all happened..I hope they find that preverted bastard. Be safe, stick with your friends (groups in general), and make sure you hunt this kid down so he doesn't (try)harm another girl! I'm sorry you were put through that, you are VERY lucky you got away when you did.

You mean to tell me that NO ONE else was in the ladies restroom at a MOVIE THEATER?? No one else saw this? Rape or attempted rape is VERY serious, so I hope you're not making this up just to get a few answers.
IF you are serious, tell your parents first. Then talk to the police with your parents at your side. Be sure to give an accurate description of the guy. Since he didn't actually rape you, this will be very hard to resolve; but go to the police anyway, OK?

I would. Most places have video cameras in this day and age so they might even have him on tape walking away from the scene. I'd give it a shot, because that's just wrong and he should be punished for that.

Call the cops right now as soon as you read these words. The more time that passes, the harder it will be to get him. Report it now.

Yes, give them a description. He committed sexual battery, and you really should have reported it to the theater workers immediately. Never, ever wait until later to report sexual crimes.
