This is to make sure screening test for HIV in UAE for Residence Visa will not be false positive for recently jaundice affected person

No, for HIV and Liver test is a different set of reagents that we use in the laboratory for detecting it. They are sensitive (meaning even the smallest amount of HIV can be detected) and specific (if we want to test HIV..then we will only get HIV). I guess this goes true for UAE for they are also advance in technology. And if by chance we detected a person positive with HIV, we do additional confirmatory tests. HIV is a different case for us because if we release false positive results..it will mean revocation of our licenses so doule-checking is important. Hope this helps. God bless!

many things can effect the testing and several more testings will have to be done. the labs can even mess up the tests or mix up your test with someone elses as it happens alot.
