I'm an undergraduate student. For one of my classes, I had a graduate student as a teaching assistant. He acted like he was attracted to me, but I knew he wouldn't ask me out or make a move during the quarter. He has a way to contact me, and he hasn't. So either I misread the signs or he's afraid to make the first move. Is it possible for a guy to be afraid to ask a girl out?

very much yes, it took my husband a very long time to finally ask me out that was when i was 12, he finally asked me out two years ago. he said he is afraid of rejection and didn't know if i liked him or not, how silly

Absolutely. Maybe he's just afraid that you'll reject him for whatever reason. Why don't you try approaching him, if you're interested. That may help relax him a bit. Good luck!

I am a guy and I think it is because he is afraid of you because you are very hot or he couldn't pick up the signs

yeah. cuz sometimes rejection sucks. i'm used to rejection. but it hurts. women makes us feel better. we think about you women every second. but if you hurt us, it's like hell on earth.
